This place suits me perfectly, offering free Wi-Fi, tv, and a picnic area. On my first stay, staff kindly helped with a local taxi number. Highly recommend pre-ordering breakfast for a delicious start. I’m coming back for Christmas!

On our trip to explore the beautiful Lydford Gorge, we found an exceptional place to stay. The Deluxe Family Room had stunning views over the working farm and valley, and the comfortable beds ensured restful nights. It was lovely to enjoy evenings in the lounge and conservatory. The ability to pre-order breakfast with so many delicious options really made our mornings special.

The location lacks nearby dining options for dinner!!! More local attractions would enhance the experience!!! Some basic amenities could use an upgrade, making the stay more comfortable!!!

Had a fantastic time with friends! We explored the beautiful fishing port of Padstow and enjoyed the dramatic walks at a nearby National Trust property. Our host was super friendly and provided all we needed for a comfortable stay. Don't miss the plentiful breakfast and gorgeous gardens. Perfect spot for walking holidays and nearby amenities.
The only downside was the limited dining options around for dinner. we wished there were more choices nearby.

Idyllic Retreat with Exceptional Hospitality
Our stay was truly delightful! Mavis was exceptionally welcoming, and the breakfast was an absolute feast with a variety of options to choose from. The room was spacious and equipped with everything we needed, including a super-comfy bed and a lovely view of the garden. We loved the serene surroundings, though more evening dining options nearby would have been great.

Arrived at Knole Farm and instantly felt at home. Mavis greeted us warmly, showing us to the Queen Room with Garden View. The room's decor was inviting, with a super-comfy bed and lots of fluffy towels. Breakfast blew us away! The spread was immense, featuring local produce and freshly cooked options. Mavis even took special requests for what we wanted the night before. The gardens were stunning, with beautiful views of Dartmoor and sheep grazing nearby, perfect for a relaxing stroll. The only downside was the limited dining options for dinner in the area, making it tricky to find a meal after a long day of exploring. A little more variety nearby would enhance the experience. Still, the ambiance, hospitality, and those delicious breakfasts made for a remarkable getaway.

The grounds were a tranquil retreat, featuring picturesque views of sheep and lambs grazing in the fields. The bed was incredibly comfortable, making for restful nights, and the breakfast spread was truly impressive, particularly the golden malted waffles. there was a significant hiccup regarding our room assignment. it was cramped, leaving little space to navigate our luggage. the toilet malfunctioned, and addressing this issue with the host was uncomfortable, as she was defensive about our concerns.
